Splintered Review
Splintered Review
The film is about a group of British teens going into the forest in search of a local legend. Election revolves around a while beasts who think is half man half beast. The legend tells that the creature enjoys the killing. the beast leads the group of teens into an abandoned orphaned. The group of teens is led by Sophie (Holly Weston) who plays in the new John Carter movie. Sophie has her own sordid past. She brings along John (Sol Heras), Gavin (Stephen Martin Walters),Jane (Sadie Pickering). All the characters in the film have their own problems. Some will have to face their problems and come to conclusion to help them live or just survive.
When it comes to the plot of the film. We've seen it before nothing really new idea. But, it's executed very well. The film had its own twist and turn. Really like the editing of this film and him and likely figure part of the of the film. I can see why anyone working, best editing, best score, best special effects in this makeup at the scare-fest horror film Festival. Also the film was nominated for best horror film at the 35th annual Saturn awards
As for the acting goes with film. Overall the cast a great job but the standout performance was from Holly Weston as Sophie. You really could see the terror on her face as she chased by the beast. I really like it limited and flashbacks to her childhood.
So in conclusion if you would like to see a British horror film go rent Splintered.
I give it 3 out of 4 stars
