Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie Trailer

The movie revolves around a group of active duty US Navy SEALs. The Navy SEALs can call to duty at any time anywhere in the world for any reason. The operators per granted a mission to rescue a CIA operative being held by a drug cartel. In the CIA operative path information leading to an ongoing investigation of a bombing attack in the Philippines. With this new information the US Navy seal team can figure out what the next step in that terrorism plan to disrupt the USA is.

When it comes the plot line the film. It could've been ripped out of today's headlines. I did love the pace of the film. To me it is not get bogged down in the middle of most movies do. I really love the action the film from a live fire shooting scenes. One interesting fact in the cinematography I liked was the first person shooter style. It almost feel like you're inside a videogame of those parts with the film. What really demonstrated the live fire action is wondered extracting the CIA operative, from the water into the gunboats.

When it come to the acting of this film. Who really gives a great performance for the wives left on base. They will show the emotional level that not knowing if their loved ones are coming back or when. When it comes to music and in the movie it has a country flavor feel too it. But from the trailer you think it's all Grammy hip-hop it's not.

So in conclusion if you're looking for a fast paced shoot them up goes the "Act of Valor" 3 stars.

Wanderlust Review

This is the movie revolves around this Manhattan couple. The Manhattan couple George "Paul Rudd" and his wife Linda "Jennifer Aniston". George is let go from his high-powered job and the city. Before George got laid off they buy a microbe apartment in the Trinity East Village. Linda is a documentary filmmaker looking to sell a project she's doing about penguin's ones with testicular cancer. After George loses his job they have a decision too made it out in Manhattan or go see George's older brother and Atlanta, George. On their way to Georgia they come upon this group of people living in this community. The community name is "Elysium" were a lot of people there are free spirits. After one night and the community they decide to go on to George's brother's house. After only being there short time they decide to go back to the free spirit community. Now let the dirty humor begin.

When it comes the plot line of this film. The film ranges from very dirty humor to intentionally going for the cheap joke. In this type of movie were not looking for very fleshed out characters were just going for that cheap laughs. We really expecting an Oscar performance from this cast and crew. I am going to have to say no. A lot your major laughs the film are coming from situation more the adult crowd.

When it comes to the acting in this film. One surprising cast member that I really did like was Alan Alda as the 'Old Lion" of the group. His performance has this crotchety old man about free love on one on one side and eating microbe healthy food and the next moment eating meat's and meet the dichotomy of the character are really did like it is really funny in this film from his hand gestures to the way he drove his little cart. But a lot of people are going Paul Rudd that one scene where he was talking about his member in the mirror really cracked me up and in most of the audience too. The movie does have a nice flow. The director of this film David Wain. Did take a lot of chances with the dirty humor but he has done that before he is a director of "Bridesmaid". So, this is not a new type of movie for him.

So in conclusion you want an adult comedy go see "Wanderlust". Please get a babysitter for the kids and leave them at home. I give it 2 and half stars.

The Front Line Video Review

The Front Line Review

The movie revolves around the last days of the Korean War. You follow this CNC agent to the Eastern front lines of the Aerok HIlls. His mission there is to find out who killed the commanding officer and to find a North Korean mole. During this time the guys are battling over the same hill. One day the North Koreans would have it the next day the South Koreans would have the hill. Throughout this time many people died for just a hill. during this time the peace talks are going on over who will get what land. As most people have heard of the 38th parallel this is where he comes. On the Eastern fifth you followed a group of folders called "Alligator Company" who survived most of the ongoing war.

The plot does engulf you in the lives of the soldiers. One moment you're laughing of the film is funny in the next secular crying because of the brutality of war. The story does show the futility over fighting for the same land over,over ,and over. A big visual good point of that at the very last scene where looking down the hill and you see all the bodies from both sides.

When it comes the cinematography is one the best one I've seen for a foreign film. The battle since fillets are really in it. Especially when it comes to the explosions from the Allied forces from the air. In the movie they don't show a lot of American forces. Most of the war you'll see limiting the hand-to-hand combat. You do have some subplots with a sniper that is working for the North Koreans.

So in conclusion if you do not mind for the film I would go see "The Front Line" give it 3 1/2 stars.

Rampart Video Review

Rampart Review

The movie is set in post Rodney King era in the late 1990s. Dave Brown (Woody Harrelson) portrays a racist, womanizing LA's PD officer. Dave Brown was caught on videotape beating a suspect after a traffic accident. As the movie goes along you see the docent of Dan Brown's life after this accident and the investigation of Rampart division of the LAPD. Dan Brown also has a softer is divorced. He married sisters back-to-back he has two daughters. His oldest daughter really doesn't respect him she's a typical teenager testing the boundaries of what she can and cannot do. The oldest daughter is a artist she mainly works with collages and sings and plays the guitar. Dan Brown has a nickname " Date Rape Dave" he got the name because he was suspected of killing a date rape person.

When it comes to the plot of this film. There's really not a lot to the plot of the movie. The pace of the movie was not that slow. I wish the cinematography villas on more of a first-person when doing the police work. The director (Oren Moveman) best known for his past work on the messengers also starring Woody Harrelson.

When it comes to acting the film. Woody Harrelson does do a great trail at a veteran cop. In the past couple of years Woody Harrelson as we've grown as an actor. Barbara (Cynthia Nixon) she does give a good performance as Dan ex-wife. Chatherine (Anne Heche) shall give good performances and the other ex-wife and then she's also an artist and the film. Kyle Timkins (Ice Cube) it was a big surprise of the movie. I was a little more drama between ice cubes character and with the Harrison character.

So in conclusion if you want to see a cop drama this week and go see Rampart I give 3 Stars.
