Burlesque Review

Burlesque is stunning (costumes, set, make-up) is astounding musically, showcases talented dancers, and has a promising cast.It is without question the BEST musical of the year!

Ali (Christina Aguilera) is a small-town Iowa girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to LA. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, the club is co-owned by Tess (Cher) and her ex-husband Vince (Peter Gallagher)  a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress . Burlesque's outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture Ali, who vows to perform there one day. Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer, finds an enemy and wins the affection of Jack (Cam Gigandet), a bartender and fellow musician. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager Alexis ( Alan Cummings) and gender-bending host Sean (Stanly Tucci) , Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her AMAZING  voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory, though not before a
entrepreneur arrives with an enticing proposal.

I personally LOVED this movie i would see it again and again, Christina and Cher did amazing performances. I also love the soundtrack.

Girls Line Amazing vocals and it has Cam(Yummy).
Guyz Line: Christina Do I have to say anymore.

4 1/2 out of 5 stars

Running time: 1 hr. 40 min.

MAPP  Rating: PG-13 for sexual content including several suggestive dance routines, partial nudity, language and some thematic material.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)

Part I of the "Deathly Hallows" is ultimately a strong build- up to what will be a triumphant, bittersweet finale for everybody. It follows the book and in the middle as in the book it drags with the camping  trips to try to find the hidden "horcruxes"The acting as with the others was great and does still show the strong friendship bond with Harry, Ron and Hermoinie as well as the others trying to help Harry escape the Death Eaters
The animated sequence detailing the "Tale of the Three Brothers", an interesting wizard fairytale was great

Harry Potter is a phenomenon. But, like all things, it most come to an end eventually. This is the beginning of the end, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Harry, Ron and Hermionie soon come into contact with Luna Lovegood's father Xenophilius who also lets slip the secret of the Deathly Hallows – and now they must also search for these to prevent Voldemort
from getting them first. The race is on!

I am a Harry Potter fan and loved part 1 and cant wait for part 2.

5 out of 5 stars

Running Times: 2 hr 30 min

MAPP Rating:  PG-13 for some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images.
